Karl Watt

Karl Watt is an accomplished financial executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various sectors, including real estate investment trusts and timberlands. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Blueprint Capital REIT since April 2021, Karl oversees financial operations for a substantial portfolio exceeding $500 million, managing key areas such as capital management, investor relations, and risk management. Prior to this, Karl held significant positions at Weyerhaeuser as VP of Financial Operations and at Plum Creek, where duties included leading financial planning and audit functions for large-scale operations. With a strong foundation in accounting and finance acquired from the University of Washington, Karl began a career at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and has since shaped financial strategy and reporting for major companies including Amazon and Internap.
