Prajna Kumar

Prajna Kumar, PhD, MPA has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Prajna currently serves as the Vice President and Head of Clinical and Pharmacovigilance Quality at Blueprint Medicines. Prior to this, they held leadership positions at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Takeda Pharmaceuticals, Shire, GlaxoSmithKline, and Chiron Corporation. Their roles have included Executive Director, Head of Clinical Development and Operations Quality, Senior Director of Clinical Development Quality Operations, and Head Programs QA and Compliance. Prajna has a strong background in clinical research and quality assurance, making their a valuable asset to any organization.

Prajna Kumar, PhD, MPA, has an education history that includes a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Hons in Biology/Biological Sciences from Northeastern University, which they completed from 1990 to 1995. From 2001 to 2003, they pursued an MBA/MPA (Hons) in Health Service Management from the University of San Francisco. Lastly, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Clinical Research from Central University of Nicaragua (UCN) from 2011 to 2016.
