Rachel Erlich

Rachel Erlich has a diverse work experience spanning various positions in the field of translational medicine, biomedical informatics, and genomics research. Rachel currently holds the role of Vice President of Translational Medicine & Integrated Research at Blueprint Medicines since 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of Translational Oncology & Clinical Reporting (formerly Biomedical Informatics) at Foundation Medicine from 2019 to 2022. Within the same company, they held positions as the Senior Director of Biomedical Informatics from 2015 to 2019 and as the Director of Biomedical Informatics from 2012 to 2015. Rachel also has experience working at renowned institutions such as the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where they served as a Group Leader in the Center for Cancer Genome Discovery in 2012, and the Broad Institute, where they held various roles, including Group Leader and Research Scientist from 2007 to 2011. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Scientific Consultant at Igeneco from 2007 to 2009, and as a contractor at Millennium Pharmaceuticals in 1999. Rachel's expertise lies in managing research projects, developing new technologies, and collaborating with researchers and clinicians to advance clinical oncology research.

Rachel Erlich earned their Ph.D. in Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, completing their studies from 2002 to 2007. Prior to that, they obtained a B.S. degree in the Human Biology Program at Cornell University.
