Bruna Sofia Simoes has a long history of working in the marketing and communications field. Bruna Sofia began their career in 2009 as a Communications Officer and Coordinator, Community Affairs at Save the Children Canada. In 2014, they moved to the Arrowsmith Program as a Communications Coordinator. In 2015, they became the National Marketing Communications Manager at Canadian Hadassah-WIZO (CHW), where they developed short-, medium-, and long-term marketing communications strategic plans and budgets. In 2016, they joined The Burnie Group as a Senior Marketing Manager and Marketing Manager. In 2020, they took on two roles at Blueprint Software Systems as the Director and Manager of Marketing, as well as the Head of Marketing at Revenue Management Labs, where they were responsible for managing all marketing activities and lead/business generation activities.
Bruna Sofia Simoes has completed a range of educational experiences. Bruna Sofia obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto in 2008, majoring in Theirtory, European Studies, and Political Science. Bruna Sofia then completed a Post-Graduate Diploma from Centennial College in 2009, in the field of Book and Magazine Publishing. Additionally, they have obtained four certifications from various institutions: The Complete Google Ads Masterclass from Udemy (2021), Learning to Write Marketing Copy from LinkedIn (2018), The ClickMinded SEO Course from ClickMinded (2018), and an Email Marketing Certification from HubSpot (2020).
