Tim Mugherini

Tim Mugherini has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Tim is currently working at BlueRock Therapeutics as the Senior Director of IT Infrastructure and Security. Prior to that, they held roles at bluebird bio, where they served as the Senior Director of IT Infrastructure and Security from 2016 to 2022, and as the Director of Information Security from 2016 to 2020. Before that, they worked at Momenta Pharmaceuticals as an IT Architect, focusing on Network Infrastructure and Security from 2004 to 2016. Tim also has experience at Massachusetts Department of Public Health, Syntonix Pharmaceuticals, MDPad Corporation, and REACH, Inc.

Tim Mugherini holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology from UMass Boston, which they obtained between 1994 and 1999. In addition, they have obtained several certifications including Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) and GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA) from SANS, HP Procurve Accredited Systems Engineer (ASE) from HP Nederland, and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) from Microsoft.
