David Burgess

David Burgess is a Principal Engineer at Bluescape Software, a position held since September 2019. Prior to this, David served as a Principal Software Developer at BlackBerry from December 2004 to September 2019, focusing on feature development and maintenance for the BlackBerry Workspaces iOS application. Earlier experience includes roles as a Software Developer at Brookfield LePage Johnson Controls, where David built an integration engine between SAP and in-house building management software, as well as positions at Nextair Corporation and Nexent Corporation. David holds a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from the University of Windsor, attained between 1993 and 1997.
