Darren MacKenzie

Darren Mackenzie is an experienced legal professional currently serving as General Counsel for BlueScope Australia and New Zealand, and for corporate matters, a position held since June 2007. Prior to BlueScope Steel, Mackenzie worked as a Senior Associate at Blake Dawson from 2003 to 2007, and as an Associate at Linklaters from 2001 to 2003. Additionally, a secondee at the Takeovers Panel from September 2000 to June 2001, and a lawyer at Norton Rose Fulbright from March 1997 to May 2000. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of Melbourne, completed between 1991 and 1995, and time at Ormond College, The University of Melbourne. Formal education began at Ballarat Grammar, completed in 1990.
