Lourdes Thia

Lourdes Thia has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity and IT support. They started their career at CSC as a Field Service Technician, where they managed IT equipment, troubleshooted software and hardware issues, and ensured smooth operations for BHP Marketing users in Australia. Thia then joined BlueScope, where they held various roles such as IS Officer and Cyber Security Analyst. In their current position as Deputy Global Lead - Cyber Security Operations, Thia is responsible for managing cyber security operations and delivering services. They have also achieved several accomplishments, including updating desktops, implementing video conferencing and security systems, and managing IT services for Annual General Meetings at BlueScope.Head Office.

Lourdes Thia completed an Advanced Diploma in Information Technology in 2009 at the Management Development Institute of Singapore. In 2010, they enrolled at Edith Cowan University to pursue a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Information Technology, and their education in this program is ongoing.
