Thane Burdon

Thane Burdon is an experienced professional in engineering and project management, currently serving as the Engineering and Mobile Mill Manager at BlueScope since June 2022. Prior to this role, Burdon was a Project Manager at Rossdale Homes from August 2016 to June 2022 and served as a Maintenance Supervisor at Arrium Mining between August 2013 and August 2016, overseeing electrical/instrumentation and mechanical maintenance in an ore beneficiation plant. Burdon began a career in maintenance engineering at GM Holden, where responsibilities included manufacturing engineering, maintenance supervision, and electrical work from January 2002 to July 2013. Burdon holds a Certificate IV in Frontline Management obtained in 2014 and an electrician qualification from TAFE SA, completed in 2006.
