Cem Başar

Cem Başar's work experience includes serving as the Senior Director of Business Development at Bluestar Energy Capital since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Enel X between 2018 and 2022, holding positions such as Head of Global Business Development for Demand Response Solutions and Head of Business Intelligence & Development for Enel X Europe. From 2016 to 2018, Cem worked at EnerNOC as an Energy Analyst, where they provided analysis and advice on energy markets and procurement strategies. Before that, they held roles at Daikin Turkey as a Sales Support Engineer, Sovatro Teknoloji ve Tasarım A.Ş. as a Sales Executive, That's Entertainment as a Brand Manager, IfA Eğitim ve Danışmanlık as a Support Specialist, and Yildiz Technical University Business Club as a Social Activities Director. Cem also gained experience as a Maintenance and Repair Intern at Kordsa Global in 2011.

Cem Başar completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Energy Science and Technology at ETH Zürich from 2015 to 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Yildiz Technical University between 2010 and 2014.
