Maggie Sonsteby

Maggie Sonsteby is a seasoned professional in the field of music therapy and behavioral health, currently serving as a Behavioral Health Care Manager and Music Therapist at Bluestone Physician Services since November 2020. Previously, Maggie held various roles, including Activities Director and Music Therapist at Ebenezer from October 2012 to November 2020, and Music Therapist at Music Sense from July 2007 to March 2015, where services were provided to diverse client populations across various age groups. Maggie's experience also includes serving as a Music Therapist and Therapeutic Programs Coordinator at Augustana Care Corporation, focusing on the geriatric population. Early career experience includes internships at Perkins School for the Blind and Benjamin Health Care Center. Maggie holds a Master’s degree in Expressive Therapies with an emphasis on Music Therapy and Counseling Psychology from Lesley University, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Music Theory and Composition and Psychology from St. Olaf College.
