Jaap Jan van Nielen

Jaap Jan Van Nielen has extensive work experience in the engineering industry. Jaap Jan started their career in 1992 as a Systems Engineer at Nevesbu Logos and worked there until 1993. Jaap Jan then joined Mardoc B.V. as a Mechanical Engineer from 1993 to 1996. In 1994, they served as an Engineering Manager at Figee B.V. for a brief period of time. From 1995 to 2007, they worked at Kenz-Figee B.V. as an Engineering Manager. In 1997, they joined Stork RMO B.V. as a Project Manager, a role they held until 2004. In 2006, they became the Owner of Heemstede Innovative Projects until 2011. Jaap Jan then joined Bluewater Energy Services in 2007 as a Senior Mechanical Engineer until 2011. Later, they held several roles at Bluewater Energy Services, including Section Head Structural Engineering, Section Head Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering a.i., and Section Head Mechanical Engineering a.i. Their most recent role at Bluewater Energy Services is as a Section Head Structural Engineering, starting in 2011 and currently ongoing.

Jaap Jan Van Nielen completed their primary education at Oranjeschool from 1973 to 1979. Jaap Jan then pursued their secondary education at Christelijk Streeklyceum Ede from 1979 to 1985. Following this, they attended Delft University of Technology from 1985 to 1992, where they obtained a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
