Aaron Simms

Aaron Simms is the Managing Director of Solar Development at BlueWave Solar. Aaron has over fifteen years of experience in the solar industry. Prior to joining BlueWave, Aaron was the Commercial Project Manager at SunBug Solar, where they were responsible for taking projects from sales through detailed design, procurement, installation and commissioning.

Aaron began their career in the solar industry as a Field Service Project Manager at Westinghouse Electric Company. In this role, they managed a team of engineers who were responsible for solving day-to-day engineering issues related to commodities including piping, HVAC, pumps, motors, valves and structural materials. Aaron then went on to become the Modules Manager at Westinghouse, where they were responsible for engineering, procurement, fabrication and delivery of equipment and structural module assemblies.

Aaron has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Aaron is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Massachusetts.

Aaron Simms has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
