Tatiana Golovina

Tatiana Golovina is an accomplished leader in cell and gene therapy with extensive experience in the biotechnology sector. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Development at BlueWhale Bio since September 2023, Tatiana is focused on addressing manufacturing challenges in cell and gene therapies. Prior to this role, Tatiana held several key positions at WuXi Advanced Therapies from October 2018 to September 2023, including Executive Director and Senior Director of Cell Therapy. Tatiana's tenure at Novartis from October 2013 to October 2018 as a Fellow in Process Development for Cell and Gene Therapy involved critical contributions to Kymriah's manufacturing processes and regulatory preparations. Tatiana began their career in assay development and translational research, holding positions at Fraunhofer CMB, the University of Pennsylvania, and Thomas Jefferson University. Tatiana holds a PhD in Bioorganic Chemistry from the Shemyakin & Ovchinnikov Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry and a Master's degree in Biology from Lomonosov Moscow State University.
