Franziska Rupp

Franziska Rupp is currently working as a Lead Sustainable Procurement at Blum Group since September 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Sustainability Manager at Planted from February 2021 to September 2023, where they were responsible for sustainability reporting, data collection and analysis, and internal and external communication. Franziska also worked as a Consultant at denkstatt Österreich GmbH from March 2021 to October 2021 and as Management Consulting at KPMG Austria from January 2020 to June 2020. Franziska has also had experience working as a Policy Assistant and Trainee at the European Commission from October 2018 to June 2019 and as a Researcher at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH from September 2016 to February 2017. Additionally, they worked as a Research Assistant at Oregon State University from October 2015 to June 2016 and as an Intern at Institut für Agrar- und Stadtökologische Projekte an der Humboldt-Universität Berlin (IASP) in March 2015. Earlier in their career, they also worked as a Sales Officer at Wiener Festwochen from April 2012 to June 2014.

Franziska Rupp completed their Bachelor of Science in Biology/Biological Sciences, General at the University of Vienna from 2010 to 2014. Franziska then pursued a Master's degree in Crop Sciences at Oregon State University from 2015 to 2016. Following that, they obtained a Master of Science in Agronomy and Crop Science from the University of Hohenheim from 2014 to 2017. Most recently, they attended Imperial College London from 2017 to 2018, where they earned a Master of Science in Environmental Economics and Policy.
