Senior Director at Blumberg Capital

Stanton is a venture advisor for Blumberg Capital’s portfolio companies, working with specific companies and their management teams on issues ranging across strategy, sales tactics, introductions and financials.

Stanton is an operational executive who has led five rounds of capital, participated in three private equity/investment portfolio companies, successfully sold two private equity backed companies, oversaw the spin-out of a global organization with multiple entities (including a broker dealer, IA, Chinese Representative Office and a German GmbH) and helped successfully retool the equity franchise of a top 35 broker dealer.

He is currently an Executive in Residence with Warburg Pincus and most recently was co-head of equities for Guggenheim Securities. Prior to that he was CEO of OTR Global, a global research & data business operating in 17 different countries around the world. Stanton was previously CEO of Vista Research, a Blumberg Capital portfolio company, and oversaw its successful sale to S&P/McGraw Hill. He was also managing director of Epoch Partners, an online investment bank funded by Kleiner Perkins, Benchmark and Trident. He worked on the deal team to successfully sell Epoch to Goldman Sachs.

Stanton began his career on Wall Street, at Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley in the institutional derivatives business. He is an active member of Tribeca Early Stage and holds a B.A. from Dartmouth College.
