Steve Gillan

Steve is the chief operating officer (COO) and chief financial officer (CFO) at Blumberg Capital. Based in San Francisco, he brings extensive operating and board experience from his years in venture capital leading high growth startups through acquisitions and IPO preparation, and from his time in senior-level finance and operating positions with publicly traded companies.

Prior to joining Blumberg Capital, Steve served as CFO at Azure Capital Partners and was previously CFO at e-commerce startup Mercantila, CFO/COO at marketing technology company Fathom Online and CFO at e-commerce company Alibris.

Steve serves as a member or observer on the board of directors of Bento for Business and Deep Instinct.

Steve earned his MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a B.S. in accountancy from the University of Illinois.
