Jake Payton

Jake Payton has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions. Jake is currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Blumira, where they focus on growing and leading high-performing teams in the field of security. Previously, they worked at Duo Security as the Head of User Authentication and Senior Engineering Manager. At Detroit Labs, they were an Application Developer, Sales Engineer, and Development Coach, specializing in iOS development and developer coaching. Before that, they held multiple positions at ePrize, including Sr. Program Director, Director of Development, Associate Director of Client Solutions, and Sr. Software Engineer. Jake also worked at CBS Interactive as a Sr. Software Engineer and at CBS Sportsline.com as a Software Engineer and Sr. Multimedia Developer.

Jake Payton completed their education in a chronological order. Jake attended the University of Windsor from 1996 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. Following that, they enrolled at Sheridan College from 1999 to 2000, studying Interactive Multimedia with a focus on Application Development.

In addition to their formal education, Jake Payton also obtained certifications to enhance their professional skills. In March 2020, they completed the Strategic Leadership Program at the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business. Prior to that, in July 2017, they obtained a Pragmatic Marketing Certification from the Pragmatic Institute.
