Kent Butler

Kent Butler has a long history of work experience in the technology field. Kent began their career in 2012 as a Jr Software Developer at Shoshana Technologies Inc. In 2013, they became an Information Technology Intern at the Washtenaw County Road Commission. In 2014, they worked as a Network Support Specialist and Support Specialist Intern at Aisin World Corp. of America. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Systems Administrator at the Washtenaw County Road Commission. In 2021, they became a Part-Time Professional Faculty in the Digital Media Arts Department at Washtenaw Community College. Kent then moved to Duo Security as an Application Engineer in 2019 and is currently working as a Cloud Integration Engineer at Blumira since 2022.

Kent Butler attended Washtenaw Community College from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a degree in Photographic Technologies, with a field of study in Photography. Kent then attended Eastern Michigan University from 2011 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, with a field of study in Computer Science. In 2019, they attended Grand Circus for a Back End Bootcamp focused in Object Oriented Programming.
