Lance de Guzman

Lance De Guzman has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Lance currently holds the position of VP of Real Estate and Capital Markets at BluPeak Credit Union, a role they have been in since August 2019. Prior to this, they held the position of Capital Markets Associate at the same company from March 2018 to September 2019.

Before joining BluPeak Credit Union, Lance held various roles at different companies. Lance was the VP of Capital Markets | Portfolio Contractor at JH Capital Group from September 2015 to December 2017. Lance also worked as the SVP of Whole Loans at Distressed Capital Management, LLC from May 2015 to September 2015.

Lance's previous experiences also include being the Partner/Director of Strategic Operations - Whole Loans at Pacific Asset Resolution, LLC from November 2013 to May 2015, and the Partner/EVP of Operations - Whole Loans at NICCI ENTERPRISES INC. from March 2011 to December 2014.

Prior to that, they were a Partner/Managing Director at Kapella Solutions, LLC from February 2004 to March 2011. Lance started their career at Career Education Corporation as the Director of Financial Services, where they were later promoted to Regional Recruiter, from November 2002 to February 2005.

Before entering the financial industry, Lance served in the United States Marine Corps as Logistics Operations from January 1993 to December 1996. Lance also served as a Technical/Financial Aid Advisor at Apollo Group from March 1999 to November 2002.

Overall, Lance has a strong background in capital markets, whole loans, and financial services.

Lance De Guzman holds a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Phoenix, which they obtained from 2003 to 2006. Additionally, they earned a Project Management Certificate in Information Technology Project Management from the same institution in 2004. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) Version 4 with a focus on Project Management at the University of Phoenix between 2000 and 2003. Before their time at the University of Phoenix, Lance attended UC Irvine in 1998 and 1999, although it is unclear what degree or field of study they pursued there.
