Melanie Styers

Melanie Styers has a strong background in biology and biochemistry, with experience ranging from academia to freelance writing and editing in the medical and scientific field. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Medical & Scientific Strategy at BluPrint Oncology, Melanie provides expertise in content development and project coordination to drive strategic direction for the company's products. Prior to their current role, Melanie held positions at EditBIOMED and Birmingham-Southern College, where Melanie served as Chair of Biology and Associate Professor of Biology, respectively. Melanie's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Cell, and Developmental Biology from Emory University and a B.S. in Chemistry and Mathematics from Birmingham-Southern College.
