Bjørn Albert Rasmussen

Bjørn Albert Rasmussen has extensive work experience in the energy industry. Bjørn Albert currently holds the position of Chief Innovation Officer at Bluware since May 2019. Prior to this, they served as Chief Innovation Officer and CEO at Kalkulo AS, from May 2014 to September 2017 and from September 2017 to May 2019, respectively. Bjørn Albert also worked as a Senior Consultant at Independent Consulting from August 2013 to December 2015. In addition, Rasmussen held the role of Chief Research Scientist at Simula Research Laboratory from October 2013 to April 2014. Bjørn Albert had a long career at Statoil, where they served as Country Manager for Tanzania from April 2011 to July 2013 and as Country Manager for Angola from October 2007 to April 2011. Furthermore, Rasmussen worked at Norsk Hydro as a Senior Vice President for Global Exploration from March 2003 to September 2007. Bjørn Albert also held various managerial positions at Norsk Hydro, including Asset Manager Exploration Angola, Director for Brazil, Vice President in charge of Technology and Competence, Director of R&D Centre, and Exploration Manager. Prior to this, they worked at Saga Petroleum LLC as a Section Manager and Chief Geologist. Rasmussen began their career as an Exploration and Operation Geologist at Statoil.

Bjørn Albert Rasmussen pursued their Master's degree in MSc Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) between 1972 and 1976.
