Janne Wallenius

Janne Wallenius has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Janne currently holds the position of Chief Technology Officer at Blykalla since January 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Technology Officer at LeadCold Reactors from August 2013. Before transitioning into the technology sector, they worked as a Professor in Reactor Physics at KTH since October 1996. Janne also briefly worked in the Äldreomsorgen department at Göteborgs kommun in 1989 and started their career as a summer worker at Volvo Aero Corporation in 1987.

Janne Wallenius attended various educational institutions throughout their life. They started their education at Sjuntorps förskola from 1973 to 1975, followed by elementary school at Sjuntorpskolan from 1975 to 1980. They then attended Sylteskolan for junior high school from 1981 to 1984. After completing junior high school, Janne attended Nils Ericsson-gymnasiet from 1984 to 1987. During this time, they also began studying Engineering Physics at Chalmers University of Technology, which they continued after graduating from high school. Janne further pursued Engineering Physics at Chalmers University of Technology from 1987 onwards. Later, they enrolled at Uppsala University, where they studied Quantum Chemistry from 1992 to 1996. Janne completed their education by obtaining a Ph.D. in Quantum Chemistry from Uppsala University in the same period.
