Sudhin Shah

Scientific Director - Cognitive Recovery Research Program at Blythedale Children's Hospital

Sudhin Shah is an accomplished academic and researcher in the field of neuroscience, currently serving as an Associate Professor of Neuroscience in Radiology at Weill Cornell Medicine since September 2006. Shah has held various positions within the institution, including Assistant Professor roles in both Radiology and Rehabilitation Medicine, focusing on mechanisms of cognitive function recovery following acquired brain injury in both pediatric and adult populations. Additionally, Shah is the Scientific Director of the cognitive recovery research program at Blythedale Children's Hospital since January 2016, specializing in cognitive neurorehabilitation. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Neurophysiology from Joan & Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University and a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Columbia Engineering. Prior experience includes postdoctoral research on EEG biomarkers related to traumatic brain injury and extensive work on individualized assessments and therapeutic interventions to improve cognitive recovery.
