Amely Overeem

Amely Overeem is currently serving as Projectleider Vroege start inburgering at BMC while also taking on a role as Junior adviseur Subsidies en Beleid within the team Cultuur, Evenementen en Citymarketing. Previous experience includes conducting research at Seksueel Welzijn Nederland in collaboration with Rutgers and Utrecht University, focusing on positive sexual education and youth wellbeing. Amely has supported research at Utrecht University regarding the competencies of sexual education teachers and has held various roles in project support, student services, and developing workshops concerning workforce diversification and sustainable employability for older workers. Amely holds a Master’s degree in Social Policy and Public Health and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Gerontology, along with additional qualifications in health and employment-related minors.
