Minke Poppens is an experienced professional with a strong background in criminology and public safety. Since March 2016, Minke has worked as a Partner and Managing Consultant at BMC, focusing on the intersection of healthcare and security. Minke has served as a trainer for the Amsterdam municipality, developing training programs for process leaders in safety and care. Previous roles include advising on improvements in youth criminal law at the Ministry of Justice and Security, leading projects for the Association of Dutch Municipalities, and advising on prevention strategies in collaboration with Heerlen municipality. Minke's earlier experience includes policy implementation and project development at Reclassering Nederland, as well as teaching criminology at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Minke holds a Master's degree in Criminology from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and an International Baccalaureate from Van der Capellen Scholengemeenschap.
