Josh Moncrieff

Josh Moncrieff is an experienced professional in the mining and environmental sectors, currently serving as Senior Manager of Environment and Permitting at BMC MINERALS, where efforts focus on the Kudz Ze Kayah Project. As the Founder and President of Tailings Innovations Ltd., Josh is developing innovative technologies for mine tailings dewatering. Previously, Josh held various leadership roles at Capstone Copper, Freeport-McMoRan, and Barrick Gold Corporation, overseeing technical services and strategic guidance in areas such as waste, water management, and project evaluations. A veteran project manager, Josh has successfully contributed to numerous mine designs and operations across more than 20 countries. Educational credentials include a B.Sc. in Geophysics and Oceanography from The University of British Columbia and an M.Sc. in Geology from the University of Calgary, complemented by international study experiences.
