Franziska Gierth

Franziska Gierth has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Franziska started their career in 2004 as a Commercial Vocational Trainee at Echolotstudios Alaska Winter, specializing in audiovisual media. In 2006, they joined B612 GmbH & Co KG, where they worked as an Assistance to MD and Rights Administration until 2008.

In 2009, Franziska joined BMG - The New Music Company as a Manager Royalty Accounting before progressing through various roles within the company. Franziska served as the Director of Royalty Projects & Analyses from 2011 to 2012, Senior Director of Royalty Processing Europe & Projects Global from 2013 to 2014, and Senior Director of Global Royalty Processing Services from 2014 to 2019.

Franziska was then promoted to the position of SVP Global Royalty Processing Publishing, Royalty Services & Income Tracking C.EU & APAC, where they worked from 2019 to 2020. In 2021, they became the EVP Global Royalty Processing, Royalty Services & Income Tracking C.EU & APAC. As of 2022, they hold the role of SVP, Head of Data Analytics at BMG - The New Music Company.

Throughout their career, Franziska has focused on building teams and leveraging data and technology to improve business understanding and performance in the music industry.

Franziska Gierth has completed a Nanodegree in Business Analytics from Udacity in 2022. Prior to that, they attended the Städtische Berufsschule für Medienberufe München from 2004 to 2006, focusing on Audiovisual Media Business. Franziska also pursued a degree in Political Science at the University of Augsburg from 2001 to 2004.
