Ruth McKay has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Ruth is currently serving as the Head of Sales at BMJ since December 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of New Business and Training at British Medical Journal from November 2021 to January 2023. Ruth also worked as a Subscription Consultant at the same company from September 2017 to November 2021. Before joining BMJ, Ruth's roles included Commercial Director at UBM Medica, where they created the successful C+D awards, and Sales Development Manager at CMPi (United Business Media), where they were responsible for training and monitoring sales staff. Ruth has also served as Advertising Manager and Advertisement Manager at The Builder Group, overseeing sales teams and revenue generation.
Ruth McKay attended the University of Nottingham from 1996 to 1999, where they studied English and American Studies, focusing on English Language and Literature.
