Beizhen Lei

Beizhen Lei currently serves as the Head of Model Risk Management at BMO, a position held since November 2011. Previous roles at BMO include Director positions focused on various aspects of model validation for Credit Risk and Stress Testing, Consumer and Small Business Credit Risk, and Anti-Money Laundering and Wealth Management. Beizhen also held a Senior Manager role in Capital Markets specializing in CCAR Credit and PPNR Stress Testing Models. Prior experience at BMO from 2009 to 2011 included a managerial position in Capital Markets, concentrating on securitization and regulatory/economic capital. Beizhen Lei holds a Master of Mathematics in Actuarial Science from the University of Waterloo and a degree from Peking University.
