Jim Duff

U.S. National Head, Banking, BMO Private Bank at BMO Harris Bank

James Duff is the U.S. National Head of Banking for the BMO Private Bank and has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Jim’s banking career has provided him the opportunity to work with both privately held and public corporations along with small businesses and private banking clients. Jim also spent nearly five years as a Management Consultant with Ernst & Young serving Financial Services clients with Strategy, Business Process Reengineering and Technology projects.

Jim has been with BMO Harris Bank since 2003 and served in a variety of leadership roles in Business Banking including Market Manager, Regional President for Suburban Chicago and Head of Risk for Business Banking.

Jim holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from Illinois State University with a Double Major in Economics and Finance. Jim has also earned an MBA with a Concentration in Finance from DePaul University.

Jim is active in several non-for-profit organizations and other volunteer activities such as PlaySmart Children’s Education, Women in Need Growing Stronger (WINGs) and as a Member of the Board of Trustees for the Chicago History Museum.
