Jemma Shortland

Jemma Shortland has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Jemma is currently working as a Business Change Lead at BMS Group since 2024. Prior to this, they worked as an Optimisation Consultancy Manager at Liberty Specialty Markets from 2020 to 2024. Jemma has also held positions such as BA Manager at Aon from 2019 to 2020, Strategic Change Analyst (Contract) at Liberty Specialty Markets in 2019, and Contract Business Analyst - Digital Programme at Aviva in 2018. Jemma has also worked at Willis Towers Watson, Hiscox, Amlin UK, Cardif Pinnacle, and the NHS in various roles related to business analysis, project management, and data analysis.

Jemma Shortland obtained an ISEB Diploma in Business Analysis from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in 2015. Jemma also received a BA (Hons) degree class 2:1 in Human resource management and development (negotiated award) from De Montfort University/ Anglia Ruskin University, completing their degree in the period between 1998 and 2001. Additionally, Jemma Shortland earned additional certifications including a Change Management Certification from Prosci in 2020, an ISEB Diploma from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in 2014, and a Foundation certificate from the Association for Project Management in 2009.
