Koenraad Bonny

Koenraad Bonny is an experienced Materials & Processes Engineer at BMT Aerospace International since March 2018, following a role as QA Engineer Special Processes at ASCO Industries from April 2011 to March 2018. Prior to this, Koenraad completed PhD research at Ghent University focusing on the influence of Electrical Discharge Machining on tribological characteristics of composites. Koenraad also held positions as a Metallurgy Engineer at IG Watteeuw, responsible for process innovation in heat treatment and overseeing the heat treatment department in Romania, and as a Research Engineer at Ghent University, working on electrical conductive wear-resistant ceramic composites. Koenraad earned a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Ghent University in 2010 and a Master's degree in Engineering, Materials Science from the same institution in 1999.
