Arwen Josemans

Arwen Josemans currently serves as the Head of Legal Securities Services for BNP Paribas in the Netherlands and Nordics since July 2018, bringing extensive expertise in financial regulation, including the Financial Supervision Act, AIFMD, and AML legislation. Prior experience includes roles as Compliance Manager at Egeria, focusing on AIFM compliance, and Senior Legal Counsel at KAS BANK, with specializations in investment funds and various financial services regulations. Josemans began a legal career at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek, where experience included asset finance and litigation. Educational credentials comprise a Master of Laws (cum laude) from the University of Amsterdam and a specialized program in securities law from Grotius. Additional leadership experience includes serving as Chairman of the Central Student Council at the University of Amsterdam.
