Erik Bengtson

Erik Bengtson is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in developing and managing front to back office systems within the financial sector. Currently serving as Director of IT at BNP Paribas since June 2009, Erik Bengtson leads development for the FX Prime Brokerage and Client Clearing system, focusing on integrations and real-time risk management. Prior to this, Erik Bengtson was Director of IT at AIG Financial Products from 1993 to 2009, where responsibilities included developing architecture for calculating risk and P&L values for credit products. Erik Bengtson holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Stony Brook University, completed in 1988.
