Mikko Rusi

Mikko Rusi is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in global macroeconomic growth and derivatives trading. Mikko held leadership roles at BNP Paribas from October 2016 to May 2022, serving as Co-Head of Global Macro for the Asia-Pacific region and as Head of FX, Local Markets and Commodity Derivatives. Prior experience includes an Executive Director position at J.P. Morgan from May 2005 to December 2010 and an Analyst role at Goldman Sachs from January 2001 to May 2010, focusing on metals and fixed income, currencies, and commodities (FICC). Mikko began their career as a Summer Intern with the Finnish Defence Forces, attaining the rank of Second Lieutenant. Mikko holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Finance from Helsingin kauppakorkeakoulu, completed in January 2002.
