Sonia Cheng

Sonia Cheng serves as the Head of the COO Office for Australia and New Zealand at BNP Paribas since January 2021, following a leadership role as Chief Administration Officer at Hang Seng Bank in early 2020. Prior experience at BNP Paribas includes a focus on Operational Risk Management from January 2016 to January 2020. Sonia also held the position of Vice President at the Royal Bank of Scotland Business from 2007 to 2015 and worked as a Senior Analyst at UBS from 2005 to 2007, alongside a role as a Specialist at Merrill Lynch from 2002 to 2005. Sonia Cheng holds a Bachelor of Accounting & Finance from the University of Sydney.
