David Zamist

David Zamist has extensive experience in project management and software development, currently serving as a Project Manager/Software Developer at BNY Mellon since February 2001. In this role, David manages a variety of projects for the Securities Management and Control System (SMAC), collaborating with business partners across international locations to define requirements and coordinate system implementation. Prior to BNY Mellon, David worked as a Systems Architect at Merrill Lynch from August 1990 to February 2001, where responsibilities included overseeing projects for multiple financial systems and managing staff. Earlier in David's career, independent consulting from May 1978 to July 1990 involved work for major financial institutions, where skills in systems design and implementation were honed.
