Michael Elgart

Michael Elgart is a seasoned professional in data architecture with extensive experience in the financial services industry. Currently serving as Director and Sr. Principal Architect at BNY Mellon since June 2008, Michael leads efforts in Data Architecture Services within the Asset Servicing Division, focusing on the reusability of established components and proven architecture strategies. Prior to BNY Mellon, Michael held positions at Citibank as Vice President and Sr. Project Manager, and at Merrill Lynch as an Assistant Vice President. Michael began a career in account management with ILX Systems, part of Thomson Financial. Academically, Michael earned an MBA in Computer and Information Sciences from Baruch College and a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Binghamton University.
