Luis Asensio Garcia

Luis Asensio Garcia has extensive work experience in the field of Information Security. Luis has held various positions in different companies, starting with MJK Empreendimentos e Participações as an Analyst for technical support. Luis later joined Control P Informática as a Junior Systems Analyst, where they developed tools and systems for ERP and database management. Luis then worked at CAPSWAT Lan House as a Proprietor before moving on to SAAE Ambiental as a Systems Analyst.

In 2010, Luis joined Abril Mídia as a Senior Security Analyst, where they were responsible for maintaining and enhancing security measures. Luis worked there for four years before joining Banco Original as an Information Security Specialist. At Banco Original, they focused on studying and implementing security solutions for Open Banking and other disruptive concepts.

In 2015, Luis transitioned to CVC Corp as a Manager of Information Security, where they created a strategic information security plan and developed teams to handle operational security, monitoring, and secure development. Luis also developed operational indicators for investment decisions based on cyber risk.

In 2017, Luis joined Equifax as the Head of Information Security Office for Brazil, overseeing security operations and strategy. Luis then served as the Chief Information Security Officer at Boa Vista, where they were responsible for executive leadership on information security, risk assessment, and strategic alignment. Luis also managed information security budgets and supported M&A processes.

Additionally, Luis has worked as a Guest Professor at FIAP, sharing their expertise with students. Overall, their work experience demonstrates their expertise and leadership in the field of Information Security.
