Savonne Monell has a range of experience in various roles and organizations. Starting in 2005, they worked at Columbus Water Works, where they held multiple positions including Vice President of Employee Services, Employee Service Manager, Safety/Benefits Coordinator, and Benefits Specialist. In 2015, Monell joined Enrichment Services Program, Inc. as a Member of the Board and Chair of the Governance Committee. Prior to that, they were a Past Board Member at SHRM-Columbus Ga Chapter from 2013 to 2015.
Savonne Monell, PHR, CWCP, SHRM-CP, has a diverse education history. In 1998, they began their undergraduate studies at Columbus State University, where they specialized in Spanish Education. Savonne successfully completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in 2003.
Later, in 2008, Savonne pursued further education at Troy University. Savonne enrolled in their Master's program in Human Resource Management (MSHRM). In 2009, they successfully obtained their MSHRM degree, further enhancing their knowledge and expertise in the field of Human Resource Management.
In addition to their educational qualifications, Savonne also holds several certifications. In 2008, they obtained the certification of Certified Workers' Compensation Professional from RMI Consulting. Two years later, in 2010, they attained the Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) certification from HR Certification Institute - HRCI. This certification showcases their proficiency in HR practices and principles. Subsequently, in 2015, they acquired the SHRM-CP certification from SHRM, further demonstrating their expertise in the field.
Recently, in 2020, Savonne completed the Dare to Lead Trained program from Dare to Lead™ Trained, adding to their skill set and leadership capabilities. These certifications and qualifications combine to shape their comprehensive education and professional background.
