Sangita D. has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Sangita currently holds the position of Vice President, Business and Legal Affairs at Boardwalk Pictures, starting in June 2022. Prior to this, Sangita worked at The Walt Disney Company in the Legal Affairs department from November 2019 to May 2022. Sangita also served as an Associate at Vedder Price, focusing on Finance & Transactions, from January 2019 to October 2019. Sangita gained experience in global project finance as an Associate at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP from May 2017 to December 2018. Before that, they worked as an Associate at Loeb & Loeb LLP, specializing in Corporate and Finance, from September 2015 to April 2017.

Sagnita began their legal career as a Law Clerk at Weinberg, Roger & Rosenfeld, where they undertook both litigation and transactional assignments, assisted with drafting agreements, and participated in client meetings. Sangita also worked as a Law Clerk at The Wagner Firm, conducting research on commercial and securities matters, drafting briefs, and preparing discovery requests and jury instructions.

Prior to their legal career, Sangita gained experience as an Extern at the chambers of the Hon. Oswald Parada in the USDC Central District of California, where they conducted research and wrote recommendations on pending cases, observed trials, hearings, settlement negotiations, and pretrial proceedings. Sangita also served as a Legal Intern at the New York City Office of the Mayor, Mayors Against Illegal Guns, conducting research on firearms legislation and gathering statements from lawmakers.

Sangita's early work experience includes serving as a Technical Assistant at UCLA Audio Visual Services, where they videotaped lectures, troubleshooted technical equipment, and set up and operated equipment for special events at the university.

Sangita D. completed their Bachelor of Arts in Art History from UCLA in the years 2007 to 2012. Following that, they pursued their Doctor of Law (J.D.) specializing in Business Law and Policy with a focus on Mergers & Acquisitions at the University of California, Los Angeles - School of Law between 2013 and 2015.
