Omer Faruk Goc

Omer Faruk Goc has a diverse work experience in the field of software testing and quality assurance. Omer Faruk currently works at Boats Group as a QA Automation Engineer, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they worked as an Automation Tester/SDET and was involved in planning, analyzing user requirements, and improving user stories and acceptance criteria. Omer Faruk automated UI scripts using Java, Selenium WebDriver, Maven, JUnit, and Cucumber. Omer also has experience as a Software Test Consultant at OPTiiM, where they attended meetings with stakeholders, reviewed wireframes, and prepared UI/UX design documents for a web-based application prepared for the Ministry of Interior of Saudi Arabia. Omer Faruk also worked as a Senior Test Analyst for ALMAC Group, a consultant company, where they provided extensive services across the drug development lifecycle to the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors globally. Additionally, Omer worked as a Performance Test Consultant at Al-Rajhi Bank, where they reviewed and updated click-path documents and supported the performance team by running test scenarios manually. Before that, they were a Software Test Analyst at SITA, where they tested all the functionalities of Istanbul New Airport through manual and automation testing.

Omer Faruk Goc completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Selçuk Üniversitesi from the year 2000 to 2004. Later, they pursued an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Computer Science from Miami Dade College between 2011 and 2013. Additionally, they obtained certifications including "Tester Foundation Level" from ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in September 2018, and "Postman Essential Training" from LinkedIn in June 2023.
