Chris Huppertz joined the BG&A team in 2013 and quickly established himself as an accomplished and critical leader for staff and clients. Today he leads the strategy and PR initiatives across the agency’s accounts and teams, leveraging insights into the evolving media landscape to connect with reporters shaping the technology, entertainment and advertising industries; engage audiences and drive actionable results. He’s secured countless placements across top national and international outlets, including Entrepreneur, Inc., Business Insider, New York Times, TechCrunch and Variety, among others, and under his leadership BG&A has received numerous awards and recognition as a top-ranked PR agency in Los Angeles and nationwide.

Huppertz has worked with a diverse range of clients, from start-ups to fortune 500 companies, including Ooyala, one of the world’s largest digital video solutions providers; Universal Electronics, the world’s largest provider of universal remote control technologies; Amazon Studios, Amazon’s TV and film production unit; Viamedia, the nation’s largest independent cable ad management firm; and GNS, an innovative IoT security solutions startup.

Chris is the recipient of numerous industry awards including the Bulldog Awards (2018) and one of PRNews’ PR People Awards (2018).

Huppertz earned his Bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of Missouri. He lives in Hermosa Beach and can often be found bicycling beachside, playing with his dog or riding his motorcycle.
