Jacob Huesman

Jacob Huesman is an experienced embedded software engineer currently working at Bobcat Company, focusing on autonomous systems since August 2022. Prior to this role, Huesman served as an autonomy engineer at Caterpillar Inc. from June 2019 to August 2022 and led the electrical and software development efforts for Bison Robotics’ team competing in the Robotic Mining Competition. Huesman has also contributed to the NASA Robotic Mining Competition, earning several awards, and completed multiple internships at major firms such as 3M, General Dynamics, and NASA, where skills in software development and system design were honed. Huesman holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from North Dakota State University.
