Suzanne and Pavel/ Scherer and Ouporov

Suzanne Scherer and Pavel Ouporov are a collaborative team of art instructors currently associated with the Boca Raton Museum of Art's The Art School since 2011 and have been artists at ACA Galleries since 2008. Both individuals met while studying at the Moscow Surikov State Academy Art Institute, where Scherer earned an MFA in art, and Ouporov also holds an MFA in Fine Art from Brooklyn College. Their previous teaching experience includes a role as Art Instructors at Armory Art Center from 2010 to 2014, where they conducted classes in drawing, painting, egg tempera painting, and gilding. Additionally, Scherer worked as a freelance designer for Polo Ralph Lauren in home furnishings from 1994 to 2013, and both have contributed to academia as professors of art at Florida Atlantic University from 2004 to 2009.
