Caroline Beck

Caroline Beck is a dedicated journalist with extensive reporting experience in K-12 education and political affairs. Currently serving as a K-12 Education Reporter for The Indianapolis Star since June 2022, Caroline previously worked as a Political Reporter for Alabama Daily News from June 2018 to December 2021, covering a broad spectrum of topics including education, criminal justice, health care, and state government issues. Caroline's early career included roles as Editor in Chief of the Triangle Student Newspaper and as an Editorial Intern at In These Times, where responsibilities involved article fact-checking and research support. Caroline holds a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Hanover College and has participated in a study abroad program focused on Human Rights and Arts Innovation.
