💼 Job Description

BODIS, a quickly growing ad tech company with roots in the domain industry, is in need of a VP of Engineering to lead our engineering team. With your experience and talents, you’ll be able to lead our team of high-performing professionals to be efficient, productive, and effective. Our ideal candidate has extensive experience within the tech industry, is ambitious, persistent, and willing to work hard to succeed. As VP of Engineering, you will manage our engineering team which includes but not limited to Dev engineers, Database engineers, DevOps engineers, and Network engineers as well as any other engineer efforts that come up from time to time.

🤝 Reports To

This position reports directly to Founder and CEO, Matt Wegrzyn.

💥 What We Need Your Help With

• Design, implement, and monitor all operations and key performance metrics/operational efficiency for the engineering team
• Recommend new technology and ideas to improve sprints and efficiency
• Build, develop, and manages the engineering team capable of carrying out initiatives
• Set out requirements for documentation from engineering team. Make sure these requirements are met
• Making sure the engineers are maintaining the desired level of quality and standards
• Contribute to recruitment activities
• Manage our Research and Development efforts

🔍 What We Look For

• Strong organizational leadership skills
• Prior engineering skills and experienced required (such as web development)
• Experience working previously for a tech company required
• Experience managing various engineering departments
• 5+ years experience leading engineering team(s)
• Strong verbal, visual, and written communication skills with the ability to explain approach to all levels in the organization including key stakeholders
