What you will do in this Electronic Systems Engineering Manager job As Electronic Systems Engineering Manager, you will lead the design, development, and validation of embedded electronic systems, combining digital, analogue, and firmware/software technologies. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth transition from concept through to production and in-field validation.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading and mentoring a small team of hardware and firmware engineers. Overseeing system-level design and integration of complex electronic products. Designing and verifying digital and analogue circuits. Developing and debugging embedded software in C/C++. Defining and delivering validation and verification plans, including compliance and environmental testing. Supporting root cause analysis and issue resolution during validation and field trials. Collaborating with mechanical, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure designs meet performance and reliability requirements. Driving innovation while maintaining compliance with relevant safety and regulatory standards. You should have:

A degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer Engineering or related subject. 5–10+ years’ industry experience in systems engineering roles. Strong experience in digital and analogue circuit design. Embedded software development expertise using C/C++ with real-time systems (RTOS). Knowledge of communication protocols (i.e. CAN bus, Ethernet) and debugging tools. Experience with PCB design tools and simulation packages. Proven ability in product validation, compliance, and multidisciplinary development. Excellent leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.
