Brian Gomez has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. Brian began their career in the United States Marine Corps, where they served as a Team Leader and Section Manager, providing leadership, mentoring, and supervision to a large number of Marines. Brian also maintained accountability for personnel and equipment.
After leaving the military, Brian joined the Marine Forces Europe and Africa, where they worked as an Operations Coordinator. In this role, they supervised the accountability of military equipment and ensured mission accomplishment through effective communication with cross-functional organizations.
Brian then transitioned to the United States Marine Corps' Patient Liaison Supervisor, where they oversaw the well-being of wounded service members and provided administrative support.
Continuing their career in supporting military veterans, Brian joined the Marine For Life Network as a Representative, connecting transitioning Marines and their families to resources and services that aid in their career and life goals.
Brian also gained experience in the private sector, working as a Sales Associate at BODY20, a health and fitness company.
Most recently, Brian has taken on roles at the Wounded Warrior Regiment, serving as a Section Leader and Regional Supervisor, responsible for compliance, process improvement, and transition assistance for military recovering service members.
In their most recent role at Meta, Brian worked as a Pathway Programs (PwP) Recruiter, supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts through recruitment strategies and collaborating with cross-functional partners on DEI initiatives.
Throughout their career, Brian has demonstrated strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills, as well as a commitment to supporting and empowering others.
Brian Gomez has completed the Intermediate Leadership and Management Development Course at Marine Corps University. Brian earned an Associate's Degree in General Studies from the University of Maryland, where they attended from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2010, they studied General Studies at the University of West Georgia. Brian Gomez graduated from Stockbridge High School in 2007 with a General Diploma.
